Wanda CubeeCraft

   This project was called CubeeCraft. We take characters or people and use the Cubee template to cubify them. In this project, I cubified Wanda from Fairly Odd Parents. First, I sketched Wanda onto a paper template, then I used the scanner to scan it in. After that, I imported it to Photoshop where I used Levels to whiten the paper and darken the lines. After cleaning up necessary lines, I used the polygonal lasso tool and the magic wand tool to select certain spots, then I used the paint brush tool to color in. I liked this project because it was fun looking for characters to use.

Quote

   This project was called Woordle. We were supposed to take a quote that spoke to us, and use the program InDesign to make the words have emphasis. I chose this quote because I thought that it made perfect sense because this is what most people don't realize when they're in the middle of drama. To create this, I used different fonts, different placements, and spacing to create emphasis on the quote. I really liked this assignment because it means a lot to me personally, and that's it.

Logo Design

For this assignment, we were supposed to create a logo that represents something that's a part of us. I chose basketball and the word determination because it shows that basketball doesn't only take skill. To create this, I drew a sketch in my book, then used the scanner to scan it in. After that, I used photoshop to refine the likes using threshold. After that, I used the paint brush tool to make the lines darker. Then finally, I used the paint bucket tool to fill in the white space with color. I really liked this assignment because I like how the result turned out.

Sawaiian Dolphin

For this project, we were supposed to create a House Banner that represented what we thought of ourselves. We were to have two main items. A figure of some shape that was used to represent something about us, and the background set up was an important part because the background colors had to match with the pictures. I really liked this project because it was something personal and I liked the results of the banner. I call it; The Sawaiian Dolphin.

Sorry 'Bout It

For this project, we were supposed to make a poster that sends a message to people through art. In that, we did a recreation of the art made by Shepard Fairey called the Hope poster with Obama as it's center attention. This project was made in Photoshop and we took a picture, made layers of different colors for different thresholds, then we added a piece of text to send the overall message. Personally, this was my favorite assignment because the outcome looks really nice.

The Almighty SCORCHEEAGLE

This assignment was called the Darwinstein. For this project, we had to make a creature that was a combination of body parts that were pasted on from other animals . To do this, we took different animals and stole some of their body parts and added it to others to create an animal. In turn was the creation of thy mighty Scorcheeagle. The Scorcheeagle is made up of three main animals. It has the body of a cheetah, for the cheetah is the fastest land animal in the world. It has also adapted the vicious scorpion tail because it adds a poisonous trait to the animal. And lastly, the wings of an eagle. It represents leadership and gives the animal the power to soar the sky making it known to the other animals of its superior species. This assignment wasn't the easiest, but it was a fun experience and I wouldn't mind doing it again.
